Welcome to the Mu Do Ryu. We are a Judo school located in Louisville, Kentucky at 3030 Hunsinger Lane in Hikes Point. We teach Judo for all ages and free Self Defense seminars the first Sunday of every month.
If you want to learn Judo but are stuck under contract at another dojo, bring that contract in and you can train for ten dollars a month at our Dojo while you are still stuck with them. Come learn Judo without shady contracts!

Judo is a martial art that relies on throws and pins as opposed to strikes and kicks. it was officially founded in 1882 by Doctor Jigoro Kano ( Or Kano Jigoro Sensei, if you are into the Japanese fashion of names). it was assembled from a foundation of several flavors of Ju Jitsu, and refined into a highly scientific martial art.
